Take The Trials of the Plagued Land In This Demo
Rearmed Trials is a free online and computer Adobe Flash action game demo for Armed with Wings: Rearmed. The redesigned version of the original 2008 Flash game, Armed with Wings: Rearmed was made available on Steam in 2017 in order to bring the beloved online series to the forefront of the gaming big leagues. It was a love letter to the older titles in the series, adding more story to the game and more challenges to face. Quite literally named “Rearmed Trials”, this was offered as a free demo for online and PC gaming, and features a different game mode to the traditional one in Armed with Wings: Rearmed.
Blade and Feathers
The usual concept of Armed with Wings is simple: as a side-scroller hack-n-slash game, you pretty much just hack-n-slash your way to victory. The game showcases the same storyline as Armed with Wings 1, but with more in-depth cutscenes now that the game has been expanded. To end the tyranny of King Vandheer upon the lands of Blackmist, the gods have resurrected you, the strongest of all fallen warriors. You’ve been given the power to wield lightning and thunder with your blade and an eagle companion whom you can control if you need to solve strange puzzles, collect hard-to-reach objects, and distract your enemies. In Rearmed Trials, the story can’t be taken up, but you can prove your skills on the battlefield by surviving waves upon waves of enemies in this last man standing mode. The more sick combos you successfully pull off against the oncoming mooks, the more powerful weapons you unlock and wield as you continue to survive. Unfortunately, this is the only thing you can play on this demo. It doesn’t feature much else aside from the chance to keep improving your skills in this kind of mode. However, it’s still quite nice that a part of the paid version of this game series is available and free for anyone to try, as long as they’ve got Flash working for them.
